Course overview

This live programme prepares you for the Huawei HCIP-Datacom Core Technology certification through weekend classes with practising network engineers. Each topic starts with the theory, then moves straight into hands-on lab work you follow along with.

Classes run on Microsoft Teams, so you can join from anywhere. Every session is interactive: ask questions, share your screen when a lab will not behave, and work through real troubleshooting scenarios with the trainers.

By the end you will be ready to sit the HCIP-Datacom Core Technology exam and to apply the same skills on production networks.

What you'll learn

  • Design and configure OSPF and IS-IS in multi-area networks
  • Build eBGP and iBGP peering and control routes with path attributes
  • Apply routing policies, policy-based routing and traffic filtering
  • Deploy switching and reliability features such as MSTP, VRRP and BFD
  • Troubleshoot routing problems methodically on Huawei devices
